Hololive Production is a virtual YouTuber agency operated by Cover Corporation. The name originates from a live-streaming service called "Hololive," whose image character was the talent Tokino Sora. The agency began in 2018 as a group focused on female VTubers, and was later unified with the male VTuber agency Holostars and a music label under the single "Hololive Production" brand. Talents are grouped by target language, including Japanese, Indonesian, and English branches, and the agency's activities extend beyond streaming to music production, concerts, and licensing.

A notable feature of Hololive Production is that it hosts a large number of individual VTubers, each with their own persona, while also functioning as a unified community. This scale allows viewers to enjoy a wide variety of personalities and streaming styles, with collaborations between talents being a particular highlight. Several of its VTubers rank among the most subscribed in the world, and the breadth of characters and settings across the agency provides wide-ranging material for derivative works.
