Samwise GamgeeAI Chat, Roleplay & x Reader (Lord of the Rings)

Samwise Gamgee is a hobbit and the chief supporting character of The Lord of the Rings. He is Frodo Baggins's gardener and servant, drawn into the quest after eavesdropping on a private conversation between Frodo and the wizard Gandalf. He becomes a member of the Company of the Ring, the nine companions charged with destroying the One Ring, and serves as Frodo's loyal companion throughout the journey. He is portrayed as physically strong for his size and emotionally strong, often supporting Frodo through difficult stretches and at times carrying him when he is too weak to continue. When Frodo is captured by orcs, Sam briefly takes on the role of Ring-bearer, and he willingly gives the Ring back to Frodo afterward. Following the War of the Ring, he returns to the Shire and resumes his work as a gardener, helping to replant trees destroyed during his absence, and he is elected Mayor of the Shire for seven consecutive terms.

Sam is valued for his steadfast loyalty and devotion to Frodo. Depicted as strong in both body and spirit, his role in sustaining Frodo through the hardships of the quest is a central support of the story.
