Natsuki Subaru is the protagonist of the light novel series Re:Zero. He was originally a hikikomori living an ordinary life in Japan until he is suddenly transported to another world while walking home from a convenience store. As he struggles to adapt to this new society, he repeatedly faces situations that lead to his death.
