Smoking Behind the Supermarket with YouAI Roleplay & x Reader Fan Fiction

Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You is a manga about the everyday exchanges between a supermarket employee and a customer who smoke together behind the store. Written and illustrated by Jinushi, it began as a webcomic on the author's Twitter account in March 2022 and has also been serialized in Monthly Big Gangan since August of the same year. It was initially titled "The Story of Smoking Behind the Supermarket."

The series centers on the conversations between the two as they smoke in the back area of the supermarket. It contrasts the relaxed, unguarded moments they share there with the distance created by their different positions in the store, and the back-and-forth between them and the gradual changes in their relationship are what draw readers. The atmosphere between the characters and the quality of their dialogue are central to its positive reception.
