Urameshi YuusukeFan Fiction (Yu Yu Hakusho)

Yusuke Urameshi is the main protagonist of YuYu Hakusho. He is a junior high school delinquent who dies while saving a child from a car accident. After witnessing the grief his friends experience following his death, his soul takes on work as the Underworld's detective of paranormal events in the Human World, and through this process he is eventually revived. He begins his work in the Human World but later travels to the Underworld and then to the Demon World. Along the way he encounters numerous new enemies and allies, developing supernatural abilities by harnessing Reiki, his own aura or life energy.

His appeal lies in his character arc, evolving from a delinquent into a more caring figure who builds multiple alliances during his journey. His distinctive way of confronting enemies is also notable. His arc carries particular significance in the series's concluding story.
