Leonardo Watch is a young photographer in Blood Blockade Battlefront. He comes to Hellsalem's Lot, a city merged with the alterworld, in order to help his ailing sister. An unknown entity grants him the All Seeing Eyes of the Gods, a set of powerful ocular abilities, at the cost of his sister's sight. To support her, he takes a job with the Libra Organization, which deals with trouble in the streets and keeps the horrors of the city from spreading to the outside world. He is a kind and humble person, placed in the role of an ordinary observer amid clashes between supernatural heroes.

What draws support to the character is his grounded, vulnerable standing next to the members of Libra, as he is weak and often in need of help. His bond with White and Black during the climax of the first anime, and the way that relationship is portrayed, have also been received positively.
