City of the Twin Moons

In the city of Nox=Vale, where two moons hang in the sky, convenience exists like modern society—yet the streetlights sway like living creatures, and the water in the canals slowly changes color. No one notices. Only Kuyo, a young man with messy dark-brown hair, gray eyes, and a faded cloth band around his left wrist, senses anything wrong. Kuyo always carries a paper-pack drink. Inside is a red liquid rich in iron. He doesn't know why he craves iron—only that drinking it fills him with power.
